Just a minute love :)

"Faith in God includes faith in His timing."

If only, if only,
I were to succeed
I think, just maybe,
I would be a reed.
To bend, not to break
In a storms awful toil,
To give someone pleasure
When they feel like they boil.
They writhe and they scream
They cry maybe too.
But I, just a reed,
Cannot truly move.
I need a caring hand
To take me away
Or just a gentle breeze
To help me sway.
Across someone’s face,
I linger a while.
Gently caressing,
Creating a smile.
But to be far away,
My efforts for naught,
It feels, in a way,
Quite like I’ve been shot.
A slow pain creeps
A dull roar cries
And all of a sudden
I just want to pry.
I want to dig deep
Like my roots in the ground,
But a reed cannot grow
If the suns not around.
If hope seems lost,
There is no smile.
No laughter, no peace
Not for miles.
The heart of a reed
Is a fragile thing.
It hurts for others
Though sometimes it sings.
But a song is not there
In an aching heart.
For a reed, has no song,
When it’s miles apart.
Apart from other reeds
It has come to know.
In their grove or their pasture
Where they all used to grow.
People will take them
And give them a home
Take them and smile
And know they’re not alone.
But this reed is lost now
In a place with no light.
Some hope for the morrow,
And a lot of fight.
God has all planned
What the reed will do.
But the reed does not know
What exactly will ensue.
It hopes and trusts
That all will be fine.
And God says, “don’t worry.
You’re mine.”

And the little reed smiles
As a tear falls down
As she looks up at her Father;
He erases her frown.
He brings her up
And sits her on his knee.
He sings her to sleep,
Let’s her know she’s free.
Free from the worries
Free from the pain.
Because no longer, never again
Will death and hurt reign.
His son did something
A long time ago.
He died for that reed,
So that one day, she’d know.
She was loved, and cared for,
And eternally blessed.
And though it may seem like it,
Her life’s not a mess.
It’s perfectly planned,
By his masterful hand.
And she need not worry,
For He has a plan.
And storms will come,
And battles will rage.
But God has his daughter,
Til the end of the age.
When man no longer
Walks the earth alone.
They will walk instead,
With their Father,
At home.

I need my own place

so that when I get out of the shower,
I can walk out in my underwear and no one bats an eye.
Because no one else would be home.

People look down on McDonald’s employees but fail to realize that if all these folks left McDonald’s and pursued “better careers”  your ass wouldn’t be able to get a McDouble with an Oreo McFlurry at 3am.

You can’t demand a service while simultaneously degrading those who provide it for you.

my parents had Magic Mike on.

I’m not really sure how I’m gonna make it through the day.

I was gonna be healthy and get a salad,

but then I decided not to do that.
